MindScan was started in 2010 with a simple aim - "Unlock your Potential".
The 2 people behind MindScan are
Ishmeet Bagga
a Certified Career Counselor & NIFT graduate who had been in the field of education since 2003.
After NIFT, Ishmeet’s passion saw her start her own design institute in New Delhi, with an aim to help students learn & understand design. Over the next 12 years, she helped hundreds of aspiring students learn the skills & techniques and start their careers at the best names in the industry – Zara, GAP, Tommy Hilfiger – to name a few.
It was during this period that she saw – firsthand – how confused students & their parents were and realized the unique position she was in. Along with her team of counselors & faculty members, she ensured that each student understood the course they were choosing – Fashion, Interior, Textile Design, Apparel Marketing Home Furnishing, etc – before joining.
Over time, this grew to more structured Counselling initiatives and led to thousands of students gaining from her experience.
Mandeep Singh Bachher
His biggest learning’s about Careers & jobs came early – during his Summer Training with Pepsi. These learnings were reinforced when he managed relationships like Tata Motors, The Oberoi Group & Reliance at the later stages of his career. He understood the necessity of speed, proper planning & playing to your strengths – but most importantly – the value of Passion & Commitment.
Over the years, he saw that many of the youngsters joining his teams were unsure of their career plans and were just following ‘a trend’. This led him to realize that it was critical for students (and parents) to receive proper guidance & get complete information about the opportunities before them
Mandeep handles Institutional Relations at MindScan, ensuring that our offering is at par with the best in the industry and some more.
A lot of discussion and homework , on how to guide school & college students, led to MindScan Education. We started by offering Campus-to-Corporate programmes for college students & then Online Executive Education courses. Career Counselling, Psychometric Assessments and Overseas Admission guidance followed in 2014. The common thread in all this – the will to help students & learners Unlock their Potential.
In starting MindScan – Ishmeet & Mandeep brought a unique combination of technical & practical knowledge and over 25 years of combined experience to the table.
